This picture is pretty painful to look at but I documented our most serious fall to date. It was the first time we were waking one of the boys up to check for concussions overnight. Miles took a dive face-first into the sidewalk at Eva's birthday party. He was having a blast running around with Harlan and then he face planted. He was shortly over it (as evidenced in his smiling face below) but I still can't forget the replay or the sound his head made. About 30 minutes later, in the car on the way home. he announced that he 'didn't like it when he fell because he was having so much fun with Harlan and then he had to stop.'
