Happy Halloween! We had a great day and the boys had tons of fun! Granny (or "Gi-gi," pronounced with a soft 'g,' as Jake and Miles call her) came for a visit and somehow we didn't get any pictures of her with the little guys...too busy having fun. They really loved having her here! We went out for breakfast at Einstein's Bagels, then hung out at Aunt Phili's for a little while, then went to watch Jude's soccer game (where Jake and Miles got to do their favorite thing...run around in some wide open fields), came home for a quick nap, then headed right back out for a neighborhood Halloween party. We went the lazy route as far as costumes went. I knew they would barely stay in them anyways and I didn't want to be wrestling them in and out of an elaborate costume. So they went as Super-Jake and Super-Miles.
After we got our heroes to bed Peter and I went to a Halloween party with some friends and Granny babysat for us. So nice!

The closest I could get to a picture with both boys
Miles fishing for spiders. This water time ended when the little pumpkin to the right of Miles climbed in the pool.

that first picture of Miles is the greatest - it looks like he is rushing off to help someone :-)
I like the outfits. What a great idea. They could stay comfy and you did not have to keep changing them. They look so big!
