A visit from Taffy

Taffy came to visit for a few days and it was awesome! Jake and Miles had so much fun with her and so did I! I had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and she watched the boys while I was there, other than that we just played. I already posted the pictures from the haircut and I didn't get many more pictures than that, but here are a few... We had a little bit of excitement this afternoon when our yard service came to cut our grass. The boys and I were playing in the living room and one of the guys knocked on the back door with a question. I stepped outside of the door for a split second (they were glued to the glass door, waiting for me to come back, so I was still right there watching them) and I heard a click right after I stepped out. They had promptly locked the door while trying to open it and I was locked out. Thankfully the front door was unlocked because we had a plumber in and out fixing a toilet (that is a whole other story) so I ran around the house and came in the front. Jake didn't seem to notice that I had been missing but Miles was upset. And I was a little shaken (what if the front had not been unlocked???). They keep me on my game.

The really do LOVE it when the yard service comes. Back and forth on the ride-on mower. I think we could watch it for hours.

The haircuts look good :-)

I can't believe they locked you out! Is that something you can babyproof? I know you can put things on the door knob to keep them from opening the door, but I have never seen anything for locks. Yikes! That could have been really stressful - I have images in my head of you punching through a window with your bare hands to get in :-)
