Thanksgiving was so much fun! We loved getting to spend time with Taffy, Papa, Aunt Milly, Uncle Andy and Lucy. The party never ended.
Jake put a slight kink in our plans by deciding not to take a nap. The whole trip. Like, not even one. Seriously? He was not having it and with two of them in there we can't let him make too much noise, because Miles really really wanted his naps. It was problematic because he was very tired but just would. not. fall. asleep. He also decided to do quite a bit of waking up throughout the night. And he was up by 6 am each day. So, the trip really was great, but that was challenging and actually cut our trip a bit short.We actually had some really fun times with Jake while Miles was napping. It was fun to get to play with him on his own. I think in the end he was just weighing his options...hmmm...should he take a nap or go play with all four adults focusing their attention on him? It just caught up with him and he started to get super tired from the sleep deficit, so we headed home Saturday.
